i hope this helps (debut ep)

I Hope This Helps is a personal offering—an honest reflection on the journey through awakening and growth. As Queen Drie’s debut project, IHTH sets the tone for a sound that’s raw, rooted, and spiritually grounded. Blending Reggae, Bossa Nova, R&B, Hip-Hop, and Afrobeats, she creates a space for those who are unlearning and growing.

At its core, IHTH is about choosing truth over image, clarity over confusion, and love over fear. For those curious about my music, my philosophy, and my story, this is me saying: This is me. I hope this helps. These songs live at the intersection of rhythm and revelation—a sincere offering for those questioning, remembering, and learning to live in alignment with who God has called them to be.

What is the Press Saying About Queen Drie?

“An instant obsession, “Homosapien” by Queen Drie is hands down my favorite sound this week and one of the best conscious hip-hop tracks I’ve heard in a while.”

“This is not an emotional song, Drie goes hard on a hip hop beat produced by Cbrobeatz and it slaps, don’t say we didn’t warn you.”

— Jennifer Elorm, iMullar

“Sounds Like: Lauryn Hill, Noname, Princess Nokia… Queen Drie is oozing with attitude on her new single ‘Homosapien’ and it couldn’t have arrived at a better time.”
